"Top White House officials took time to repeatedly contact a politically unknown Indiana Republican in attempts at persuading her to quit her state Senate campaign in favor of a candidate endorsed by President Donald Trump.
In text messages and phone call recordings released to news outlets Friday by Alexandra Wilson,
close Trump staffers and others suggested she would be in line for political appointments if she dropped out of the Republican primary."
(They were offering her employment with the state of Indiana, and people at the state level were following up to try to interest her in a state job. That is some real micro-coordination. And maybe a Hatch Act violation?)
Wow. It's noted in the article they are even insinuating in their contacts they will use something she did when she was 19 to smear her campaign.
