SOUTH BEND Notre Dame is moving forward with plans to bring Chick-fil-A to campus after students petitioned the eatery and conservative heavyweights like Sen. Lindsey Graham expressed their support this week on social media for the fast food chain.
Construction of the new Chick-fil-A location will begin next month in the former Star Ginger space at Duncan Student Center.
The addition comes as a part of Notre Dames recent Retail Dining Master Plan. Popular mainstays like Starbucks, Au Bon Pain and Taco Bell will remain on campus. While new offerings, such as an Asian-inspired concept called The Noodle Nook, will open on campus this school year.
But, Chick-fil-A appears to have drawn the greatest attention among students and staff.

There will be multitudes of rubes eating there. I predict the place will be wildly successful.
And even if it isn't, the corporate Nazis who own that shit franchise will keep it open anyway.
