Wow! We are the smallest county in the state....I would never think the NYT would notice anything we did. But she did draw a good and very enthusiastic crowd.

1. Sent my ballot in today for Michele Nunn. Made small contribution too. Perdue exemplifies right wing

hatred that has hurt this country the past 14 years.

I suspect there will be a run-off, and I fear in the end that the right wing haters will rally for one of their own.

2. I think she is doing far better than expected

which is probably why the NYT picked up on this. Whether she can overcome the rural haters remains to be seen. I was certainly impressed at the crowd in our area.

3. She has run some excellent ads. Of course, the right wingers show her next to Pres Obama,

in hopes that racist fears will get out the vote from the usual suspects.

I agree, she has done very well and has a real chance to pull this off.

Even ole Zell Miller endorsed her.

I suspect Zell had some issues with Jimmy Carter. Nathan Deal is a slimy piece of crud. Would love to see him upset.
