I'll probably vote in the Democratic primary.
But there is a school board position that I'd like to vote in because the two challengers are either a teabagger or unqualified. There is no Democrat running in that position.
I might also vote for a less-offending Senate candidate scumbag. I see Broun, Kingston, and Gingrey as the worst. As much as I despise Handel, I'd rather she be defeated by Michelle Nunn.
Any recommendations? I'll be voting in a few hours.

(14,733 posts)n some places, they have language that makes it fraudulent if you vote in the opposite primary simply to try and subvert it by voting for goofballs. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone prosecuted for such, but it does exist in some places.

(2,593 posts)I decided to vote Democratic. If nothing else, to show that we exist! Let the R's either deal with their crazies or live with the consequences.

(30,947 posts)I was only interested in voting for Michelle Nunn and Jason Carter. None of the Republican candidates are on the Democratic ballot.

(117 posts)Post. The incumbent is willing to work with Common Core vs trying to destroy it in favor of a potentially weird home-rule system.
But I voted at noon, and I stayed in the Democratic primary. We had some county Dem issues to cover on that ballot. It was a lleasure to vote for Nunn and Carter. There was another Dem running that looked really great on his resume.
