(32,017 posts)Georgia Democrats have every reason to be quite proud of their contributions to American politics. James Earl Carter, Jr. and Sam Nunn are two of which I am proud, personally. I suspect those names will still resonate with Georgia's voters today. Besides which, Georgia will be blue in a couple election cycles.
The times ... they are a-changing.

(171,616 posts)You voted this early? I understand there's a rethug primary this coming Tuesday, but I'm confused, Laelth. Could you explain how you voted so early? I didn't know we could. And did you go somewhere physically? If so, what ID was required? Has anything changed?
Thanks!

(32,017 posts)State-issued ID was required. I went to the Bibb County Board of Elections office and voted there.
I think early-voting ends today, however. Sorry I didn't respond sooner.
