Curfew set for 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. in Chatham County; Tybee Island closed until further notice

The Chatham Emergency Management Agency announced on Monday that a curfew has been implmented in Chatham County from 11 p.m. on Monday until 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Along with the curfew, Tybee Island will remain closed until further notice as access to the island is unavailable at this time.

CEMA added that Chatham County residents are welcome to begin re-entry into the county, but advise them to wait until after the 6 a.m. curfew is lifted on Tuesday.

Other notes:

One-third of Chatham County is without power.
Chatham County is under a flood warning until 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday
Chatham County is under a tropical storm warning and a storm surge warning until further notice.
Chatham County is under a tornado watch until 10 p.m. on Monday.
