Georgia prosecutor arrested in prostitution sting

A Georgia prosecutor is set to be the one that’s prosecuted after he was arrested during what law enforcement officials are saying is a massive prostitution sting.

55 other people were arrested when Gwinnett County Assistant District Attorney Christopher Quinn was charged racketeering and pandering. His lawyer, though, says the charges in Dunwoody were taken too far.

The two police say were the ring leaders, Sam and Darliene Crenshaw, were charged with much more serious crimes, including running a commercial sex enterprise.

The New York Daily News reports:

One of the two escort services that were busted up, called “Gold Club,” was operating in a building across the street from the police station in Dunwoody, according to the Journal-Constitution. The second escort service, called “Lipstick and Shoes,” also operated in Dunwoody, the paper reported.

Police placed hidden cameras in at least one of the buildings, which they say captured hours of illicit activity.
