Seminole County voters concerned over $1.01 mail-in ballot cost amid early voting

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — As early voting begins, most election offices are reporting a busy start, but more than 53,000 Seminole county voters are worried less about long lines and more about whether to mail or drop off their vote-by-mail ballots.

The main reason is cost versus convenience.

Seminole County voters are concerned about postage costs for mail-in ballots as early voting begins. It will cost voters $1.01 to mail their ballot or two forever stamps.

Seminole is the only county in central Florida in which you have to put a stamp on your mail ballot to send it back to be counted.
