Related: About this forumAnyone live in a Century Village?
My beloved Dr is retiring. He was the main reason to stay where I am. It was a shock and I'm upset, but he earned it.
Thinking of moving back to Florida now. I've been too reliant on leaning on relatives for 'support' and its been bad for me. I think I'll be happier in a 55-plus place with activities and services I can make friends and move away from this "loved ones" bullshit that's causing me a lot of heart ache.things came to a head recently and I'm done.
My psycho sister lives in WPB, but I can easily avoid her, which I think is best for me.
Does CV take pets? A cat.

(26,727 posts)Just type Century Village into the Google and, surprise! they have a website!!
Okay, I'll save your typing fingers: https://www.centuryvillage.com/
I will also suggest you look into various facilities in various places. And if you do return to Florida, make sure you move somewhere well above sea level, if any such place exists there.

(10,137 posts)to the store, nice neighbors, beautiful gym, pools, auditorium. I also liked the layout of the apartments. The entire experience was wonderul. The rent has increased quite a bit from the old days and the to buy costs always depends on the size and location within the community.
