A fireworks store in West Melbourne erupted in flames Monday afternoon.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the Phantom Fireworks on West New Haven Avenue.
According to Brevard Fire Rescue, an SUV went into the building, causing the fire. Fire officials said the driver of the SUV died.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the SUV struck a Toyota Tacoma which sent both vehicles through the intersection of South John Rodes Boulevard and West New Haven Avenue and into the Phantom Fireworks parking lot.

Florida. Doesn't. Care.
They'll put more barriers around election sites, though.

(706 posts)Quite familiar with Florida, Savoy, Ashfield, all of the in the NW corner of Massachusetts. Beautiful woods, hiking trails, evening star shows, local farms and restaurants, kayaking and swimming in local ponds and lakes. Friends with houses and second homes. Beautiful, hilly and woodsy New England.
I don't need a first cup of coffee to know how lovely it is in Western Mass and to know that Florida is America's drainpipe.
But since you mention it, it's time for that first cup of coffee and to get to my small business.
BTW, I've been enjoying your original posts months before I joined DU and another several months before I ventured my first reply. No stopping me now.
