Enjoying the benefits of being a part of the US, but following none of its law or traditions. Rejecting democracy and installing his own autocratic regime.

5. Exactly. A long time goal of the GOP and our enemies.

Putin has been working for decades to bring down the US, to weaken it, make it look ridiculous and powerless.

Other countries have worked on this goal as well.

The GOP wants total permanent power and control, and access to US financial assets. So they gladly worked with our enemies, they all have similar goals.

I would think the GOP states will still want to be taker states and get federal dollars and benefits from the blue states.

But they will take no direction from the federal government or follow federal law. They will impose draconian white christian minority rule in their states. And silence anyone who opposes them.

They may call themselves the one and only American people and the rest of us are their sworn enemies. Hence they must be armed to subdue us.

Or perhaps they will call themselves the new confederacy.

I feel certain DeSantis has the entire blueprint in his mind.
