seems there has to be a new assessment to fund the schools. It'll be tacked on to your property tax bill and voted on in November this year.

I thought deSantis had the educational funding under control and even giving bonuses to teachers..

Not to worry. The bobbleheaded blonde on Spectrum said it would only add $269.00/yr to a $300K home tax bill.

Add that to the property insurance increase and viola, all the more reason to move here.

the bait they used in 1990 to replace taxes used to fund education. Then they set the hook and lottery proceeds are put back in the General Fund and mixed, muddled, and stirred to replace a bunch of state income.

Trust me, when you talk to the new entries to the state, they are looking to shelter their income and pay no taxes. Now we have pretty much unlimited development and no money to pay for any of it.

It's what 20 years of repukes have served for lunch .

fuck, I gotta get outa here, none of it's making any sense.
