Somebody once tried to sell us a timeshare in Ft Lauderdale during spring break week. Told the guy to give us our freebie tickets and wed let him try selling to some unsuspecting couple.

Don't forget to bring your guns to show your support for the 2nd Amendment.

TBH, I don't know how you can say you support the police and be a fervent 2nd amendment person. Most police are not going to appreciate someone visibly displaying a gun in their line of work. People seem to fantasize about being in a gun fight and plugging the bad guy. All I can see is becoming a distraction for any police on the scene.

(17,643 posts)Think Trump is blameless for Jan 6th. Part of what got those guys in trouble is Panamaniac is a legit event put on by legit businesses on the beach. They issued cease and desist orders for those two to stop using their name but they obviously didnt. The legit business notified local LEOs in January and, IMHO, they failed to adequately prepare. I think they are looking for an excuse, any one will do, to completely shut down spring break.
