Biden to help distribute COVID-19 vaccine in Florida despite opposition

(Local10News) Gov. Ron DeSantis said he doesn’t need President Joe Biden to set up any COVID-19 vaccine distribution centers in Florida. He said all the state needs is more vaccines.

President Joe Biden wants to ensure that the vaccine is distributed to people in Florida because they’ve only distributed about 50% of the vaccines that the federal government provided, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday.

“So, clearly, they have a good deal of the vaccine,” Psaki said. “That supply will need to continue to increase as they are able to effectively reach people across the state.”

Psaki said part of the challenge with the COVID-19 vaccine is not just having the supply — that’s pivotal — but also having vaccinators and having vaccine distribution places, and doing it in a way that’s reaching people where they are and meeting local communities.

It doesn't take away from the fact that it is a huge task just to get registered for a vaccination. And the new website for the entire state has been talked about for a few weeks and still no word as to when it will be set up.

In my area, it appears they like to place themselves in senior mobile home communities and let everyone else just stay on the list. At least we are supposed to be getting 11000 this week.

Not to mention the fact that a paramedic just got caught stealing at least 10 vaccinations and trying to cover it up all at the request of his captain who wanted to use it for his own personal family. They said it was for his mother, but there were nine extra vaccines missing.

Then we can move on to the fact that there was a wrestling match that turned into a super spreader for those involved and others they have traced it back to.

Yes, Ron, you are doing a fabulous job and you don't need anyone to come in here and mess with it.
