I submit it's time for the Florida Democratic Party, and in particular the Miami-Dade County Democratic party to resign en masse...

With any luck we can get a relatively competent organisation in place by 2022...

1. We need to find a way to attract cuban Americans

they have stuck with repukes since Nixon... I know they are the sons and daughters (and grandchildren) of Batista oligarchs, but we should find a way to get their vote.

They dream of returning to Cuba someday... or at least hold a grudge that their grandparents never got to go back.

4. Interesting. I think we should ignore the Cubans.

Instead, we should focus on Puerto-Rican Americans and Mexican Americans in Florida. Their values are more in line with those of the Democratic Party. They are more open to what we have to say. In fact, we insult them when we court the Cubans. Generally speaking, they don’t like the Cubans, either.

5. We need to counter the "socialist" label propaganda.

There are multiple "Hispanic" communities with distinctive interests. Rick Scott has made the effort to engage these groups, particularly the Venezuelans. The Republicans had his playbook as a starting point.

I was literally talking about this earlier today.

That label is a killer with various hispanic groups and the funny ting is that the party they vote for is no less socialist.

2. Completely agree. Truly pathetic excuse for

accomplishing much of anything. The Panhandle is just as bad although not as many possible votes. Here it’s just the DWC, Democratic Women’s Club. They are still doing weekday luncheons like when it was all housewives. Makes me nuts! Way too much turf warfare crap going on. Would love to have someone take a serious interest in the state and get us up and running.
