(59,156 posts)1. I was on the road for an hour and a half last weekend with 25-50 mph wind.
It was difficult keeping the car in my lane on the highway and smaller cars were veering around.
My arms were actually sore when I got home from gripping the steering wheel and keeping the car in place.
The other interesting thing is that the cars were all driving fast, like bats out of hell. And no cops pulling people
over. I think everyone wanted to get to their destination asap and get off the road. It didn't feel safe.
So if anyone is driving in these winds be careful.
