Some have designated replacements who show up on their weekends off and swap out with someone else. That would maintain a set number for events if they are organized enough.

This will end up being a running grievance that they weren't welcomed with open arms upon their arrival.

Yes. It was a small group. Went through quickly. Got jammed on the SW Freeway for a bit. Now there's a crash blocking the center of road on I-395N on the Case Bridge just before the 12th Street exit.
