Our brief burst of summery weather is in the rearview mirror as colder air returns along with some unpleasant precipitation by tomorrow morning. Most of it should be cold rain, but we could see some wet snow or sleet mixed in there too, especially north and west of the city. Temperatures warm briefly again later in the week with showers Friday night into Saturday.
Today (Tuesday): Brighter skies do little to offset the big reduction in temperatures from Monday as highs only manage the lower to middle 50s by afternoon. Wind from the northwest at 10 to 15 mph can gust as high as 20 to 25 at times to offer wind chills in the 40s, though wind should diminish some during the afternoon. The weekend starts on the inclement side with Saturday clouds, showers, and maybe even a thunderstorm as a big cold front arrives around midday.
