Nesbitt says walk up changes are NOT for people getting second doses, just 1st dose. You should schedule second dose appointment when getting first. @WTOP

(3,465 posts)1. Hopefully eliminating the scheduling hassle will have more people get the shot. We had to go across
the state of WA from Seattle to Walla Walla to find an appointment. (Got our second shot on Saturday). They have people showing up though that get cold feet and have docs and nurses trying to talk them into going through with the shot. The fight from here will be hesitancy and Trumpist stupidity.

So hopefully your less-intrepid friends and neighbors can get theirs.
But yeah, its hard to score an appointment in some places, thats for sure.

(3,465 posts)3. Thanks! And it feels good and we had no major side effects which we worried about needlessly
I do hope folks keep showing up. It may not be perfect or long term but I'll live getting updated for variants booster every year or even 6 months.
