PM Update: A late-night snowflake is possible as it remains chilly through Wednesday.

It felt more like the time of year today; even a bit colder than usual if you’re being exact about it. The highs in the low 40s felt even colder with winds blowing from the northwest around 15 to 20 mph, with gusts toward 40 mph at times.

Through tonight: Clear conditions will persist this evening, but we will see clouds increase into the night. There could be a flurry or quick-hitting snow shower from about midnight through dawn, but probably not amounting to much if so. Lows will be in the mid-20s to around 30.

Tomorrow (Wednesday): Skies will be variably cloudy. It may be that the day ends up bookended by clouds, with the heaviest coverage early and again later as a weak cold front approaches during the afternoon and evening. Highs will be within a few degrees of 40 in most spots. Winds will be from the south near 10 mph, with gusts around 20 or 25 mph.

3. I've got a good view of it now, but I also have a great view of full moonrises in the winter.

I can watch the moon come up over the horizon.

My moon-rises are not as good as my moon sets (over the river,) but these days SETS happening so late/early (6:59 a.m) I rarely catch them; DO get them in process of setting.
