There have some kind of gifting thing if you buy something else. I find it confusing.

5. Interesting. I have heard that it is ok to give someone else some for free. Might be a work around.

Did they name a shop? PM the name and I'll check it out next time I head down there.

A little easier to find stuff using the “where’s weed” app rather than the web site, but neither is particularly well organized, but you can find sellers (delivery) and, I think, seller ratings. The recreational purchasing process isn’t too complicated but does involve something like sending a pic of your driver’s license and a selfie holding up three fingers. Delivery usually about an hour and available in sort of late-shifted business hours.
The process can result in some deals/offers being texted to your phone that could pop up on your phone screen at inopportune times, but there is enough spam text nowadays for plausible deniability.
DC just legalized mushrooms (at least) too, and my friend who told me all this 🙂 has already gotten spam for that.
Not legal to smoke in public, but I worked long hours on K Street last year, and you could get a secondhand buzz just walking around the block late at night.

9. Does Not (Currently) Apply on Federal Property

While the DC government is way cool on the matter, feds are feds, and any federal property in DC (buildings [including their sidewalks in their definition of “their” property], the mall, monuments, etc.) should be avoided while carrying at all costs, at least until sometime after noon on 1/20/2021.
