Equal Justice Under the Law:

Do We Still Honor the American Dream?

Sponsored by the

state and federal law enforcement keep

the Founders’ promise of equal justice for all.

Excerpts from the following will be discussed by the audience:

· Graham Greene: “Our Man in Havana” (1958 novel)

· Glenn Greenwald: “With Liberty and Justice for Some”

· Joe Nocera, NY Times Op-Ed: Could We Reduce Serious Financial Crime by Jailing Culpable CEO’s?

· Michelle Alexander: “The New Jim Crow” – How the Failed War on Drugs has kept 30% of Young Black Men from Voting.

· Matt Baitti: “Grift-opia” How Middle Class Social Security Taxes Have Been Used to Reduce Top Bracket Income Taxes
