This guy is running for State HD 15 in the Springs

Yikes! This is Klingenschmitt's website and it's a whole lot of crazy. State House District 15 is the Powers corridor in the Springs.

How is his support down there? He seems extreme even by Springs' standards.

3. I honestly hadn't heard much about him

until he got in the Gazette with an opinion piece. I guess he does have a bit of a national profile. He was apparently bragging about making Ed Schultz capitulate in some debate they were having (video I saw said otherwise).

So, in answer to your question, I haven't seen a lot of support or pushback on him yet, but my radar is certainly up now. He's not in my district but this is someone that definitely needs to be worked against.

2. Our local extremists held our second annual "Constitution Week"

and had this guy for a speaker. A few of us spoke out and were vilified with the usual tea bagger crap.
I swear if one more tea bagger yells at me "read the Constitution" I will shove a copy down their throat.

4. Poor CO Springs with reps like that and

with more federal money and jobs than any other area of the country they still back Doug Lamborn who voted no to opening up the government shut down.
