Lawsuit claims Loveland cop has history of wrongful DUI arrests

LOVELAND, Colo. (KDVR) — A pilot claims in a new lawsuit against the Loveland Police Department that he was wrongfully arrested for drunk driving by an officer with a history of unjustified arrests.

The breath and blood tests Harris Elias took on the night of Jan. 4, 2020, showed zero intoxicants in his system, according to the lawsuit, filed Monday in Larimer County. But based on his take on the events of that night, a Loveland police officer was intent on proving otherwise.

Sorry for the FOX link but the video at the link really shows the bullshit this cop is pulling.

FOX affiliate stations are not FOX News, although some affiliate stations may be owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, which is bad as well, but Sinclair owns stations carrying all the networks - not just FOX.

Sadly, the only thing I see that can work is for insurance companies to jack up their rates for municipalities that get sued in cases like this. The municipal government suffers from lack of revenue for everything worthwhile because they keep POS cops on the payroll.
