Remember the 2016 caucuses? They could be our last

Caucus night this year fell on a gorgeous March evening, where the air was crisp but not cold and the sky was bright.

And it was a good thing, too. Caucus locations around the state — including in Fort Collins — were so jam-packed that caucusgoers were forced to hold events outside.

Some in Fort Collins didn't even wait that long: They half-joked their location was a fire hazard and took off before they could make their pick for the Democratic Party's nominee for president.

If Proposition 107 passes on this year's general election ballot, that likely won't happen again, at least in the near future.
