CA Top off your gas tanks and keep them that way.

CA imports oil to make gasoline and next week without a peace deal we may run short of oil. YMMV. IMHO.

Frequent topping off of gas tanks causes extreme crowding and congestion at gas stations and in the streets, costing everyone time effort and money. This is not good advice.

Following Loma Prieta in '89, electricity was shut off in San Francisco for days. Can't pump gas without electricity. I always top off when the tank hits 5/8 to 1/2.
