Harris making one last SF fundraising stop before Election Day
In what campaign officials say is part of what will likely be her last California trip before Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris will return to The City for a fundraiser at the end of the month, according to an invitation obtained by The Examiner which was emailed to Democratic donors Tuesday morning.
The event, titled “An Afternoon with Vice President Kamala Harris,” will take place Sept. 28 at a time still to be determined. The address won’t be revealed until the day before the fundraiser.
Harris announced her Bay Area homecoming with less than two months before the Nov. 5 election. Campaign officials wrote on the invitation that Harris will spend the majority of her campaign’s final month in battleground states.
The event will mark the second time Harris — a Bay Area native and former San Francisco district attorney — has fundraised in-person in The City since replacingPresident Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee.
