Sensei Grandmaster Seiichi Tanaka recorded with S.F. Industrial Rock group Sharkbait for their 1991 CD Blowtorch Face-lift.
Anyone remember them from shows at the I-Beam, Kennel Club, DNA? Or Lollapalooza? Mid 90s Burning Man Festivals?

Tucson has Odaiko Sonora. Early on, in the Nineties, they didn't have a fixed rehearsal space. That was when I literally first heard of them. They rotated through member's residences to drum. One of those was right across the street from me. It's hard not to notice rehearsals like theirs. I was fascinated, and wound up making drums and didgeridoos with them. They later provided sound for a production of MacBeth that I acted in. Loved those folks!
