(4,859 posts)There's a ritual to it at our house. We always sit down and fill out our ballots together as we read the voter info about candidates and issues (or Google for more) and discuss. After we sign and seal them, we drive to the box at City Hall (that feels so much more official than a drop box in the grocery store) to drop off our ballots, and we put on our "I voted!" stickers.

(52,265 posts)with me to vote. She died 3 years ago and I miss her when I vote and get a sticker. Every one of her old stuffed animals has an I VOTED sticker on it since the poll workers thought that she was a cute, little voter and they would give her her own sticker.
