1. Not born here, but been here 60 years.

This is home and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I do prefer the small towns in my old age, like the one I live in. Silicon Valley was fun in my younger days.

in San Jose and the Peninsula.

Nothing like Isla Vista in the 1960s. Still have my tie dye Long johns, my guitar and last pair of Birkenstock sandals.

Things got quieter after that!

2. I love my state of California. Born here, lived here all my life, and I'll die here. I still haven't

seen all the places yet that I want to see. But I love this place.
