Polling reported in Democratic Senate primary; includes Bill Halter

A friend reports an automated poll Thursday night, relating to one announced and perhaps another potential Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate.

The questions asked a preference between Conner Eldridge, the only announced Democratic candidate to challenge incumbent Republican Sen. John Boozman, and former Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, defeated narrowly by then-Sen. Blanche Lincoln in a Democratic primary in 2010. Lincoln was then defeated by Boozman.

Questions were of the "push" variety. Could Eldridge be viewed as a small businessman having held a highly paid job in his father-in-law's bank? It also asked about Eldridge's stated opposition to abortion. The survey also asked about Halter as a Clinton appointee and Social Security administrator.
