Carla Tyson, poultry heir, arrested on threatening charge
The
Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that Carla Tyson, daughter of the late Tyson Foods CEO Don Tyson, was arrested Saturday for reportedly drawing a shotgun on a couple who parked in front of her Fayetteville house. She was charged with two counts each of terroristic threatening and aggravated assault and released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
A police report said Tyson, 59, took the gun with her when the couple parked in front of her house because she feared being kidnapped. She also said she should have handled things another way. Police were called and Tyson retreated to her porch and also called police.
