I refused to vote for the unopposed candidates. I skipped it cause I figured they were R and voted straight D for everything else

3. That's the way to do it. I took my Dem voting guide right into the booth and double checked it before hitting print.

Governor Clinton, and 3 of the Congressional districts were Democratic. Pulaski County Sheriff Tommy Robinson of Little Rock was elected to Congress as a Democrat but switched parties and was defeated in the next election. Those were the days *sigh*

of Bill Gwatney. who was the then-chair of the Arkansas Democratic Party. He was a fellow Boys' Stater who was devoted to his party, and then some asshole murdered him and then the perp was killed during the manhunt. And the Arkansas Democratic Party hasn't been the same since
