So, let me get this straight. You, Sam Barr, happily get behind the destruction of the planet (right here in our own backyard) because you are SO important, you can’t bear the inconvenience of having dropped cell phone calls whilst driving.

That is so wrong on different levels. Firstly, a recent NTSA study shows that distracted driving (Yep, that’s talking on the phone while driving) is more fatal than impaired driving. Now, we’ve all known the consequences of driving drunk for years and here we find something more dangerous; talking on the phone while driving. Thanks Sam, now we know who you are. A man so filled with his own self-importance that he would destroy flora and fauna at will for cell tower taller than a football field all the while endangering the lives of other people with his uninterrupted talk talk talk.

You’re an old man, Sam and you’re the lucky one because in the 20 years down the road when the eagles are gone, the native flowers don’t come up in the spring and the butterflies cease to exist, you’ll be dead; but, the rest of the world will have to live with the results of your inability to overcome your bourgeois hardship.

Should I submit?

Are you against cell towers? What did this Sam Barr do to get you so stirred up?
My crystal ball in in for some maintenance and fine tuning.

This is the wintering grounds for bald eagles and migratory path of birds and butterflies. We live on unstable ground (karst geology) tiny lake towns, lots of hills, twisty roads, tourist country all the way. The cell tower is planned to be over 300 feet tall rather than smaller towers along the way. It's "progress" to Hell. Sam Barr is a jp (justice of peace--other places would call them board of supervisors) and rather than protect our environment and "industry", he's gotta talk talk and wrote a piece in the local paper saying "way to go"...this is just my response.

I'm not against cell towers but there are some that shouldn't be. jhmo

3. Maybe put something in the LTTE explaining why the tower should not be built there.

But it does sound like someone needs to speak up.

Before it's all over, there is going to be nothing to see here folks. It will be flattened and just on the way to some place else.
