Clarke Tucker ran a great campaign.

I figured Mahony would be a landslide, but Clarke came pretty darn close.

The casino amendment.

A constitutional amendment making it mandatory that my county (Pope) play host to a casino.

I must digress that this amendment defied local votes. It was a very rough night for me here in Arkansas.

Any of you have good news? At least the minimum wage passed...

I hope Clarke runs again in 2020 (with the right candidate at the top of the ticket, it could be enough to get him across the finish line).

In 2016 Hill won AR-2 by 21.5%
In 2018, Clarke lost by only 6.4% (silver lining, I know).

He's one to keep an eye on, for sure!
