In Tucson. We havent been there for years. Beef hot which is beef slices soaked in juice with a hot pepper and olive cooked topping.
Rings were still hot and crunchy
Bags are still translucent by the time you get home. Hit the spot.
Got there a little late for the lunch rush but looked like theyre doing good.
Now Im going to pass out for a while

Had to google because Ive only known it as Lukes. Lots of chicago memorabilia.
We went to the place on Alvernon near the original place on 29th before it burned down. Thats lukes italian beef.
The other looks like one of the stores remaining after they expanded.
Great sandwiches.

I thought they had a tuna sub but just looked. They have a vegetable sub
Provolone cheese, American-Swiss mix and pickles, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, Greek peppers and a dash of dressing. Add hot or sweet peppers for an additional charge.
