Pfizer shot! My best friend knew I was scheduled with CVS this Friday but was able to get me in at Phoenix Municipal (sp) tomorrow. I cancelled my CVS appointments for 3/19 and 4/9 and now my first shot will be on St. Patrick's Day. She told me that they will schedule the second shot after I receive my shot tomorrow.

(6,497 posts)I turned 63 last month and got my first dose last week. Got the Moderna vaccine at Walgreens. Their website was very efficient and easily made my appointment when they opened it up to 55-64 year olds. Automatically scheduled the second dose as well. (the state site is garbage and overloaded with requests)
If the TRAITOROUS IMBECILE was re-elected, I have no doubt I'd be dead by now. You, and a lot of others perhaps as well.
Thank Koresh for JOE!!!!!

(6,321 posts)I know that tomorrow I may have sore arm but at least that first shot will be history and I will have taken the first step to protect others and myself.

(6,321 posts)I will receive my second Pfizer shot. I have been drinking plenty of water and Gatorade-Zero. It is getting in the mid 90's around 1 in the afternoon. I have Tylenol just in case of headache or any other pains. I also have 7-up and of course plenty bottles of water. I don't think I will be getting sick but I have followed the threads in General Discussion. With the first shot only a slightly sore are on the second day and I did sleep.
