(27,995 posts)A friend of mine looked this morning and found 8 openings at a local Walgreens. He made an appointment and was vaccinated in under 15 minutes! Amazing!
I received my first shot a couple of weeks ago, no side effects other than a sore arm for about a day. I can't wait for the second one and join the fully vaccinated club! Stay well.

(6,321 posts)this Friday! A great two days after my birthday gift to myself. It will be at CVS. I am excited but also have already forgotten which med I am receiving.
My second dose is April 9th. Both are on Fridays as a just in case.

(6,321 posts)of my son's death and we laid his ashes to rest at St. Stephen's here in Phoenix. I tried to schedule an appointment but after two days gave up until I was not being emotionally punched in the gut. Tried today and was able to get to a CVS in Mesa. Scottsdale and Tempe locations near my zip code were booked. This location is 18 minutes from my house.
