1. It seems to be more of a plateau than a decrease now

We just seem to be bouncing from around 800-900 up to around 1200.

vaccination rate will start to show results soon,

2. They say hospital metrics are going down.

However our death count is still so high. They never draw a correlation between people dying and how that lowers the hospital metrics. Dead people don't need the ICU or ventilators.

3. Deaths follows new cases by 2 weeks to 2 months

or more. Hopefully in a few weeks we’ll see deaths go down. But then there’s Texas . . .

5. We're two months past the holiday positivity surge...

and still our death rate is very high. And like you said, then there's Texas. Hopefully the J&J vaccine will be the game changer they say it should be.

6. Yes, but as recently as Feb. 9, we had

4381 new cases. As the hospitals become less crowded, they can manage to keep people alive longer. But ultimately, many of them die. It’s going to be a long slog, made worse by the stupidity and greed of governors like Texas’. I hope our dope doesn’t follow suit.

7. My concern is Ducey and what his next move will be.

I don't know why he all of a sudden felt the necessity to have schools open. I hope we don't all have to pay the price again for yet another poor decision on his part.
