Food bank at St. Stephen's Phoenix and COVID19.
This is a reminder that you will need photo identification (required by St. Mary's) and a mask if you come to the food bank today. St. Stephen's is located at N.56th Street and East Oak. The hours are 9 am to noon. St. Mary's now gives two boxes a month. You cannot get the two boxes on the same day. Again, that is St. Mary's rules not ours.
Last week we helped 75 families get a food box. St. Stephen's gave away bags of food with Thanksgiving items and a 10$ gift card to Fry's. The church purchased 150 cards so the remaining cards will be given away to the folks who were not able to make it last week.
Everything is now on computer so that St. Mary's can keep track of how we can improve. It also lets us know what other St. Mary's food bank the individual may have visited that month.
