I am so bummed I didn’t know about it. I love independent bookstores. My Tucson favorite is Clues Unlimited.

and she was so special. long time family friend - knew my Grandparents even! I hadn't been out there in 4 or 5 years, didn't even know Kathy wasn't working out there any longer. Winn would give you the rundown of where everything was because it was NOT an any kind of logical order, last things I got were some cook books, a Spanish conversation book, and Riding the White Horse Home by Teresa Jordan. Her womens western writer section was amazing.

she even took several copies of my German friend's masters thesis to sell. LOL (it was on the dynamics of the water controversies on the San Pedro and elsewhere in the west)

just found out one of my sons' friend's mother passed away today. it just doesn't stop!

I bet Winn carried it. I read if 30 years ago and am so due to reread it. The title comes from the instructions came what what Papago (I believe it was Papago) mother’s told their kids to answer when social workers came and asked them questions. The social workers always preferred to hear yes than no.
