A screenshot from Arizona Republican Party Chair Kelli Ward's Facebook page shows a mostly maskless crowd at the Mohave County Republican Picnic on July 18, 2020.
From the looks of what happened over the weekend, its possible that Arizona Republican Party Chair Dr. Kelli Ward may have attended Forrest Gump Medical School, where the motto is not, First, do no harm but Stupid is as stupid does.
As reported by The Arizona Republic's Yvonne Wingett Sanchez, Mohave County Republicans gathered for their annual picnic over the weekend, an event that featured Ward and Sen. Martha McSally and Rep. Paul Gosar, and which ignored CDC recommendations to wear masks and keep their distance.
It was a perfect COVID-19 Petri dish at a time when the virus cases in that county have increased by 64 percent during the past couple of weeks.
And Ward, who really should and does know better, was proud to tout.
