Food bank at St. Stephen's Phoenix and COVID19.

With Arizona spiking with new cases we are considered an essential worker. If you need food or know of anyone who needs food comet to St. Stephen's at North 56th Street and Thomas. We serve everyone. A picture identification is required by St. Mary's Food Bank and we are a satellite food bank for them.

Personally, asking for the reader of this post to send positive thoughts, vibes or prayers. The volunteers wear masks and gloves but not everyone who comes to get a box is wearing a mask.

This is the first time I have been nervous. As a food bank we never did shut down but I guess the media is getting to me. Two thirds of the folks who come wear a mask and a smaller number also wear gloves. I just need to remember to breathe and remember that the volunteers are practicing all of the recommendations.

A relative of mine works for United Food Bank. You all are truly a blessing to the community. Just keep wearing a mask and keep your distance whenever possible.
