(27,995 posts)3. And Ducey still won't wear a mask in public
PHOENIX State health officials and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey on Thursday recommended for the first time residents wear masks in public settings if they cant properly social distance.
Ducey even brandished a cloth face mask of his own, stating he wears one in public and will continue to do so in the future.
I want to say wearing a mask when you cant social distance is good and I am going to wear a mask when I am in those situations, Ducey said during a press conference.
Numerous examples from Duceys own Twitter feed since the start of June show him not adhering to his promises.
That includes around members of his own office.
Neither Ducey nor Dr. Cara Christ, the states public health director, wore masks during Thursdays press conference.
