still too cold up here, though today down by the St David Cienega there were a few gnats flying around my eyes.

Southern CA. They bite people on the legs especially. This is a new thing too. I know they are very active since I get about 3-400 bites a year due to them and I hate it! I have to keep my legs covered all year long, including wearing tights or pantyhose with shorts since nothing stops them (believe me I tried everything).
