9. BREAKING: Escaped homicide suspects captured

PHOENIX – The U.S. Marshal for the District of Arizona has announced the capture of two escaped fugitives wanted for a Tucson murder.

According to a news release, U.S. Marshals captured Blane and Susan Barksdale on Wednesday.

The couple has been on the run since August 26th, when they escaped from a transport van during an extradition from New York to Pima County.

The Barksdales are facing charges in the April murder of Frank Bligh.

The U.S. Marshal’s Office will be holding a news conference tomorrow in Phoenix.
