Saturday. I am trying to remember if that was the day the dogs freaked out all day, bet it was.

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake in southeastern Arizona was the largest of several quakes that registered in the region on Saturday morning, officials said.

The Arizona Geological Survey said in a tweet that the Duncan and Safford areas experienced a sequence of shallow quakes at 10:01 a.m.

At least one twitter user reported feeling the seismic event in the Valley.

Each year, Arizona has hundreds of earthquakes that people don't feel and several that are felt, according to data from the University of Arizona. The Republic has tallied some of the most notable seismic events in Arizona's history.
