Drinking Liberally, Tucson, Movie, Flor de Muertos
Yes, we'll have heaters on the patio!!!
'Flor de Muertos' captures the cross-cultural collisions regarding death along the US and Mexico border, centering on a week-long period that commences with the traditional Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead and ending with the 20th All Souls Procession in Tucson, one of America's most compelling examples of Festal Culture. The film is written and directed by Danny Vinik, a Tucson native ...and a notable producer, director and founder of Brink Media, based in Tucson. With the music of Calexico of Tucson in concert.
Ted Abrams will introduce the movie and will be available for questions afterward.
See you all at The Shanty 6 o'clock!
