Conservatives alleging voter fraud in Arizona really have no clue about how elections work here.
What is slowing the process down is that each mail-in ballot goes through a vigorous signature verification process that is labor intensive and time consuming.
In addition, Maricopa County's personnel and technological limitations cap the number of ballots that can be counted to around 80,000 per day.
They are counting every single vote and counting them accurately.
Kudos to the County Recorders in both parties and the Secretary of State's Office for conducting this cumbersome counting process with professionalism and transparency.

(27,995 posts)Sec. of State Reagan's office has been very transparent about how many votes are out in each county, and they have provided detailed public updates on an ongoing basis.

(12,441 posts)Apparently they want her screaming "Fraud" at the top of her lungs and she won't. Even Ducey tweeted how important it was to count all the votes (after Sinema had moved ahead!)
She may be awful, but she's not stupid - McSally is where she is because of the lengthy counting process in AZ.

Watch for the RW conspiracy theorists to ramp up their bogus cries of "fraud".

(29,346 posts)They let you vote from work or home and use a pin instead of a dubious signature match system. I know they will never allow it but the way we do elections is outdated including the fact election day is on a Tuesday.
