(53,061 posts)11. Maricopa Recorder announced that they will only update once a day at 5 pm
She said the recorder will not update results on Wednesday because of the lengthy signature-verification process. The next scheduled update is at 5 p.m. on Thursday and then every day at 5 p.m. until the office is done counting ballots.

If you click on view more you can see the county by county vote.
The percentage does not include the mail in ballots.

(17,168 posts)10. wierd that the number uncounted keeps going up
But it's probably good, since most of those ballots are maricopa and Pima county.

And they don't tally that election day.
This will be the first time that we know how many went into the system.
In AZ you can early vote up to Nov 2nd and you can mail in mail in ballots but they have to be postmarked 31st of November.
This year an extremely large number of people "close to a million" walked in their mail in ballot to make sure that they got voted.
On my last canvas on November 3rd all of the early voting Dems that I called on had either mailed it in on the 31st or were going to walk it in to make sure that it was not lost in the mail. Most were walking it in.
Even if they mailed it in on the 31st they still would not have been counted by election day because they have to be evaluated and accepted, and then counted.
On election day they had no tally of the walked in ballots but were stunned that it took so many truck loads.
Tonight is the first time we should have a hard number of how many were cast in Maricopa but they still will not be counted yet
